This first model is actualy a spiral however you can not tell from the shot. I like this shot the best because it has a interesting perspective as far as deph perception goes.  The spiral represents rythium. because to me the spiral is remenisant to the techno dance raves seen in "Modulations: Cinema for the Ear" because of how the beets make you dance.

This next model is one of my favorites. It represents structure. Particularly the city complex structure. Because of how all of the city blocks are piled apon one another.  This relates to Modulations: Cinema for the Ear In the way that Brithish jungle techno makes one feel as if they are part of an urban structure sicioty

This model represents rythim and how people all have their win dance to the beat. Because of their humanoid structure.  It is obious how it realtes to Modulations: Cinema for the Ear.

This construct represents Melody. Particularly in the way "electronic music" has become intertwine within our culture. The copper is symbolic of the electronic element in todays music while the silver represents the old style of music and how ti still holds a large part in todays musical culture. Eletronic music as see in Modulations: Cinema for the Ear.

This represents melody. And how the sound waves modulate in the way we perceive them.

When i compare my models to everyone else's i realize htat they are quite small. I believe this is due in part to my past as a modlist. This prior hoby has most likely left me micro-minded

This project started as as sketch before i arived at UNM. This week it has came to frutation in the form of this negative space illustration. It was a good way to study the use of lines, presence and absence of space. Made in illustrator.

Weeklyblog W2 2/3 YinYang Sketch.

The inspiration for this peace was Yin&Yang, Good and Evil. Angel and Demon. The proportions aren't perfect but that cam be fixed in program. I am not sure how the mouths will turn out and may still be tweaked in program. As always the sketch is destine for a complex vector illustration. Maybe i will import it into photoshop and use some of my new skillset learned in class.
